Why is preproduction important?
Titanic
Titanic is an American epic romance and disaster film written, directed, produced and co-edited by James Cameron. Director James Cameron didn't realise how big of a project Titanic was as he started to film as it was made in the 90s. Titanic featured lots and lots of water and because of this, it means meant that many cast and crew members caught the flu from being submerged in freezing water. Separately 50 crew members were sent to the hospital when the productions catering company were served chowder that was spiked with PCP a hallucinatory drug. This then caused it to go 138 days over schedule which then caused Titanic to become the most expensive film at the time.
